Soi Sim Island is about 12 km from Bai Chay port and about 1 km from Titop Island. It is one of the few places that still retains its wild beauty with a rich flora and fauna. Not only does it have a beautiful beach, it also has a primeval forest on a unique geological foundation, with 2/3 of the area covered by feralit soil and weathered soil. Visitors can conquer the highest peak of the island through 400 steps, from there looking far away, admiring the vast ocean and the unique limestone mountains of Ha Long Bay.

The provincial People’s Committee has requested the Department of Tourism to coordinate with units to identify 7 pristine island areas and beaches for these special guests, including reopening visits to Soi Sim Island. This will help visitors experience the beautiful natural space, while enhancing the local tourism potential, helping this place to be more widely known on the international tourism map.
